Cyber Sex

HTHGS: How to have cybersex
For better or for worse, many people dabble with cybersex. In the world of cybersex, you can be anyone you want.  In the world of cyberspace it is just as easy to be a dashing 27 year old corporate lawyer who has a knock out body, a 72 year old man in a wheel chair, as it is to become a green monster.  The only limitation you face is your imagination and your writing ability. Within this context, some people claim cybersex is not real sex and is thus, a “safe” form of playing, while others consider this a form of cheating, a breach of the marital contract.  Before engaging in cybersex, I suggest having a conversation with your partner and exploring his or her boundaries on this subject.  You might just learn something.

Cybersex for the creative couple
Cybersex is something that does not have to be limited to you and a random strange person, cybersex is something that you and your partner can engage in. Having good cybersex with your partner requires that you
·         Suspend all disbelief – similar to the way you suspend all disbelief when watching a movie
·         Allow yourself to enter a world fantasy – similar to what you did in childhood when you played cops and robbers or even house
·
Write your sexual thoughts

Try experimenting with your partner in a MUD room, chat room and even through regular e-mail. Who knows, the two of you might be able to engage with one another in an entirely new and different way.  Written by Alex Robboy, LSW

HTHGS: The benefits of Cybersex, (written by a subscriber)

Letter to the editor,
One of the best ways my partner and I have found to keep each encounter fresh is to engage in a little cybersex role-playing either over email or in a chat room just before our face to face encounter. Talk about wild and rough, we experience it nightly.

HTHGS: What is cheating?

Letter to the editor,
First of all, your website is really great! Thank you! Second, there was this guy who had an online-girlfriend who he called Sue, and she got jealous because he had cybersex with other girls as well. This raised the subject of cheating...does cheating also mean having cybersex with other people? I have given this a quick thought, and find it really difficult to answer. I believe it is important that you have to be open about this with your partner.

For instance, if you are physically with someone else in a relationship and still have online sex with someone else, it's not really cheating, but just living your fantasy. And, it is still better than physically cheating on your partner with someone else. But when you are in an online relationship, this doesn't really apply. Online relationships are no proper relationships. Only when you have met the other person, you can talk about a relationship. In the end, it will depend very much on you and your partner, how much you trust each other. But I believe in future more and more people will face this problem. Anyway, happy New Year and keep on the good work! Regards Beverly from England

Our Philosophy sex is like dancing, it changes every time. It depends on culture, atmosphere and mood. Sometimes it is done alone, with a partner or in a group. It can be fast and hard or slow and soft. Sex is a combination of non-verbal negotiation and verbal cues: a scream, a twitch of the toes, or a flush of the face. There is no one 'right' way to move, only what feels good to all those involved.
