Olive Oil

HTHGS: Olive Oil (written by Yvonne Fulbright MS.Ed)

Ask Yvonne,
Well I have this question to ask at work we had an interesting conversation about sex and all the good stuff. Well this guy told me that you could use OLIVE OIL to loosen up the opening of the anus. Thus, my question is, can you use that for the anal and as well as the vagina to loosen the muscles? Thanks Olive Oil ;) Olive Oil

Dear Olive Oil,
Olive oil, like most other oil or oil-based products, could act as a lubricant, which is essentially what causes the muscles to become relaxed – not the oil directly loosening the muscles themselves.  Therefore, it could essentially be used as a lubricant for vaginal sex as well.  One warning to you: Never use an oil or oil-based product when using a latex condom.  The oil damages the condom, making it less effective.

Our Philosophy sex is like dancing, it changes every time. It depends on culture, atmosphere and mood. Sometimes it is done alone, with a partner or in a group. It can be fast and hard or slow and soft. Sex is a combination of non-verbal negotiation and verbal cues: a scream, a twitch of the toes, or a flush of the face. There is no one 'right' way to move, only what feels good to all those involved.
